Student Disability Services (SDS) assists students with physical, medical, mental health, and sensory disabilities to participate fully in the Cornell experience.
SDS staff members are responsible for:
- Arranging accommodations and services for students with disabilities to ensure that they have equitable access to all that Cornell offers​
- Working with faculty and campus partners to develop inclusive living and learning environments at Cornell
- Providing information and advocacy to the Cornell community around disability-related topics
The role of SDS also includes educating the campus community about disability issues, and helping to create and sustain a welcoming, accessible, and supportive environment for all Cornell students.
